Kwa Maritane Lodge

Located on the slopes of a volcano in the heart of Pilanesberg National Park, Kwa Maritane Lodge offers free WiFi and the reserve boasts two tennis courts and two swimming pools of which one features a water slide.

We’ll come back !
We had a fantastic experience at Kwa Maritane Lodge. The well-maintained property and spacious room provided a comfortable retreat. When booking in, we discovered that our stay also included a game drive which was a pleasant surprise. After exploring the park, the refreshing swimming pools were a welcome respite. Enjoying breakfast and dinner with a view of elephants, rhinos, impalas, and other wildlife from the restaurant, made our stay at Kwa Maritane Lodge exceptionally memorable.

Check in process was chaotic and unclear. Needed to leave vehicle in queue and then long time to wait to be seen. Not enough reception staff on for holiday weekend arrivals

What was the highlight of Kwa Maritane Lodge
Kwa Martian’s us beautifully located. Management needs to build a less tense work atmosphere. This is not a cheap resort
It is located in Pilanesburg park and offered animal viewing from our room and the restaurant.
The cleaning and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. There was not much leeway for staff to accommodate guest requests. The primary preoccupation was on money versus guest comfort. This was evident in numerous staff interactions in the restaurant and bar areas. One of the men staffing the front desk spoke rudely and treated us as though we were scammers when we inquired about a late checkout (an extra 30 minutes) to allow us to shower as our morning safari was delayed in returning.
